Trials has been
set up by David Hunt; an ex-professional player who started
at the grass roots level of Sunday Junior Leagues, progressing through
County School's and Youth Leagues before being 'talent spotted' and
signing up as a 16 year old apprentice for the then First Division
Club, Derby County F.C. in 1976. He went on to play for Notts County F.C. from 1978 to 1987, and Aston Villa F.C. from 1987 to 1989, making some 400 appearances as a Midfield/Defence player, and scoring 37 League and Cup Goals, as well as making headlines along the way. Since finishing his playing career, David has concentrated on Coaching; gaining his UEFA 'A' licence, and using his professional experience and knowledge to help today's youngsters to enjoy and improve their football. He runs his own successful Soccer School, which he established in 1992, to serve children from 5 - 16 years, within the Midlands community. He also runs Coaching Sessions in several schools and leisure centres, and organises local tournaments. He has kept up his professional contacts by coaching in the Soccer Academies at Leicester F.C., Derby County F.C., and Aston Villa F.C., and is fully aware of the exceptionally high standard of talent and commitment that is demanded of by today's Football Clubs. |
